The 1st Keyworth Scout Group has been associated with the Robin Hood Marathon for many years. Like the runners, we were happy to see the race was on again this year. |

As well as operating the finishing drinks station, 1st Keyworth Scout Group's leaders, parents, Cubs and Scouts were giving out foil blankets. Many a runner said that they felt like a turkey all wrapped up in foil! Remember, if you feel like a turkey, you can win one on Sunday the 9th of December 2001 at the 19th Keyworth Turkey Trot Half Marathon. |

Whilst the leading runners did not have to queue to get their water, it got a bit more hectic later on. It pays to finish early! |

Smiling Full Marathon Men's Winner Jamie Jones receiving his lace. Keyworth was well represented in and around the Robin Hood finish line. Parents and children from Crossdale Drive Primary School, Keyworth gave out the sought after commemorative lace. But where are all the Crossdale School children? Parents from Crossdale Drive Primary School are the organisers of the Crossdale 10k race and fun run that will take place on the 8th of September 2002. A nice training before next year's Robin Hood! |

Full Marathon Men's Winner Jamie Jones getting a well deserved drink from Keyworth's Cub Scouts. Hang on a minute. These grinning boys aren't all Cubs and Scouts. Could these be the missing Crossdale children? |
